We would like to share with you our precious memories

Jerry left me 03/18/2008 for greener pastures after over a year of battling cancer.  He leaves behind precious memories, a foundation for my dreams, a love for his family and a legacy of stories.  My heart is forever broken, my life forever changed because him.  We shared so much together, he always held me up and gave me his all.  In the end, in his suffering, he once again showed he was my knight in shining armor as he took his failing body and galliantly fought to get on the tractor one last time just 4 days prior to his passing to help ME, yet again, as I laid my sweet Australian Shepherd, Chase to rest. 

He gave me his every last ounce of love and life

I love him so.........

March 21,2004-March 23, 2008
Once again tragedy has struck our farm.  Rebel became sick with a virus and fought it in the face of Jerry fighting his cancer.  Jerry repetively stated that he wanted to ride Rebel this summer.........well now he can.  I believe that the angels came down to take Rebel to carry Jerry on his journey.
 
May they ride high on that mountain together, with Chase close behind.


Chase 01/01/1994-03/13/2008
At 14 years, Chase, left us today--leaving behind a wake of memories, experiences, lessons and love.  She taught me about training, Search and Rescue, and doggie smiles. 
Chase was a rescue Aussie from the Colorado Australian Shepherd Rescue group.  She came into our lives at 10mths old as a companion for Bo (see below).  She kept him company, she saved my life (during a hip fracture alone in the Black Hills), she babysat the neighborhood children (they would come to my house after school to see if they could take Chase for a walk and play ball with her), she raised a teenage boy and bird (go figure huh?), she inspired my farm name, she inspired my life and direction.  She has touched so many lives.

Fourteen years of dedication. 

Rest in peace with Bo from now on "Toots".

He will forever be missed but his heart lives on in us and in his boys!
